In Memory of Sister Ellen Convey, IHM (1948-2025)

We share the sadness of Gesu School as it mourns the passing of its beloved former Principal, Sister Ellen Convey, IHM. Sister Ellen was a tireless advocate for children and their families. She devoted 32 years of her life to the Philadelphia community, serving as the leader of Gesu School. She exuded creative hope, love, and compassion.

Please join us in holding her family, her IHM, and the entire Gesu community in our prayers.

Washington School for Girls Celebrates 28 Years!

WSG is preparing to transition into its new campus next year. So this year’s annual Founders Day prayer service included the creation of a time capsule to document the school’s first 28 years.

The time capsule was a great way to document the school’s milestones, special guests, and previous campuses. It was a fitting way to also pay homage to the many people who make the WSG community so special.

WSG students reflected on the importance of the school’s core values, which have been an integral part of its history and will still be a part of its future. Founders and friends from the school’s Founding Spirit organizations spoke about the shared history of the school and its community supporters. All stakeholders at the event joined in prayer and celebrated the milestones of WSG so far and the amazing accomplishments that are on the horizon.

Nativity Prep of San Diego Celebrates Its Sponsors

Earlier this spring, Nativity Prep of San Diego welcomed over 40 of its sponsors onto campus for a special Sponsor Appreciation Lunch! The Family Association at Nativity (FAN) plans, organizes, and executes this annual lunch, which allows families to personally thank sponsors for supporting their students and the school community!

The middle school students love welcoming their sponsors, getting a chance to personally get to know them, and showing them their favorite spots on campus! This is Nativity Prep’s favorite way to welcome spring and show its appreciation to its generous supporters.
