The NativityMiguel Coalition is thrilled to announce an upcoming professional development opportunity! Sponsored by The San Miguel School of Providence, this training is designed to enhance our schools' ability to recruit and retain top talent across the Coalition. On Tuesday, October 22, NEMNET Diversity Recruitment will present "Improving Your Skillset for Hiring and Retaining Staff," a workshop valued at $8,000 per institution, offered FREE OF CHARGE. The training will be led by NEMNET Founder and CEO, Warren Reid.

This event will be held in a hybrid format. All those accessing the training virtually will do so via Zoom. In addition, for participants in the Northeast region, please consider joining us in person at The San Miguel School of Providence, which will include lunch and a school tour before the training begins. For those who choose to be with us at San Miguel, there will also be a post-training debrief session where participants can collaborate on real resumes and hiring materials, applying the insights gained during the workshop.

NMC Graduate Support Director is Nominated for Prestigious Award

Nativity Prep Academy's Director of Graduate Support, Xochitl Alvarez has been nominated for San Diego Magazine's Celebrating Women Award in the Education Pioneer category!

Xochitl has been at Nativity for over twenty years serving previously as a teacher and in admissions. As the Director of Graduate Support, she implemented GSP beginning in sixth grade to fully prepare students academically, socially, and culturally for college. Knowing that for first-generation students, family support is crucial, she expanded the program to include family education about how to support their students on the journey to a college degree.

Congratulations to Xochitl on this honor; it is well-deserved. Click here to read the full announcement.
